Resolution to some of the common issues faced by the PayPal users

  • Visit www.paypal.com to login to your PayPal account. Enter your username and password to log in and view your recent activity. Click on the Activity on the top of the page and scroll down to the activity list. 
  • Ensure that the email address is selected in the search for the transaction dropdown menu, and enter the email address of your recipient above the list.
  • Click on the search, after adjusting the date range, you will be able to see the recipient’s payment on the list. 
  • You need to click on the payment you want to cancel from the list. The specified items will open in detail on the details page. 
  • You need to select - cancel and follow the instructions.


There could be multiple reasons behind unsuccessful transactions. However, if the recipient hasn’t claimed the transaction because of the funds sent to an incorrect email address, follow the instructions given below:

  • Log in to your PayPal account and check the funds on your PayPal account before you process a transaction. You need to have a sufficient balance before you process the payout.
  • You need to create an a.CSV file using a correct email address of a recipient and make sure you choose the correct payment method and currency for transactions. 
  • Then upload the details and submit the payment.
